How Can Senior Citizens Obtain Health Insurance?
People who are at the age of 55 to 70 years old frequently face the difficulty in obtaining health care coverage as many insurance providers are very much concern about their health condition. In fact, there are many health plan options available for them in the market.

Next, the seniors should find out whether they are qualified for Medicare. Under this federal health insurance program, the seniors are qualified if they are over the age of 65 and they have full time jobs for a total of at least 10 years. If they have qualifying spouses, they are also eligible for medical coverage under his or her Medicare plan. Besides, the seniors also should find out whether they are qualified for Medicaid if they come from families who have limited income and unable to pay high medical bills.
If the seniors are still unable to obtain any health coverage, they can still look for low cost health services which are provided by the government. It is a reminder to all senior citizens that they are not being neglected and their health care is always well taken care of by the government.
